"Try Ons" offer a novel approach to shopping and selling through the use of videos. Within the app, you can effortlessly browse, purchase, and upload videos to showcase your own items for sale.
How do Try Ons work?
Upon listing your item, you will now have the option to include a "Try On" video in addition to the traditional photo option. You may choose to upload either or both types of media to showcase your item for sale.
Demonstrating how your item fits by modelling it is the most effective way to showcase it to potential buyers. Alternatively, you can display the item on a hanger or a flat surface if modelling is not feasible. This approach is particularly useful for items such as sneakers, accessories, or clothing that no longer fits. The best way to show your item is to model it, so buyers can see how it fits. You can also show the item on a hanger, or a simple flat surface, if you don't want to model it. This works well for things like sneakers, accessories, or any items that no longer fit!
How long can a Try On video be?
Try Ons can be up to a minute long. While the minimum length is two seconds, we recommend no less than ten seconds, so buyers have time to fully see the item.
Are Try Ons required when posting?
When listing an item, you can add photos, a Try On, or both! You’re not required to add a Try On to a listing, but we definitely recommend it if you want to sell quickly :) With video, buyers can get a better sense of the colors, details, shape, and texture.
Do I have to actually try the item on?
While we recommend trying on the items for your Try On videos, it’s not required. You can take a video of the item on a hanger, a flat surface, or even on a mannequin if you have one!
Can I add Try Ons to existing listings?
Yes! Go to the listing you want to update, tap edit, and you’ll see the option to add a Try On.
Can I add music to my Try Ons?
Background music is not currently supported with Try Ons.
Can I upload an existing video from my camera roll?
Yes! When listing, tap Try On and you’ll see the option to select videos from your camera roll.
