Effective from: 27 April 2025

To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please review and agree to the following terms before participating.

1. Eligibility

• Pickup services are only available in Lekki and VI during the month of May 2025.

• You must provide at least 15 clean, wearable clothing items.

• You must have a Forkeeps account before your pickup date. Create an account here.

2. Accepted Items

• Only laundered, neatly used, or never-worn clothes are accepted.

• We do not accept:

  • Torn, stained, faded, or damaged clothing

  • Underwear, socks, or lingerie

  • Counterfeit or fake branded items

  • Items with strong odours (e.g., mothballs, heavy perfume, smoke)

3. Pickup Process

• Pickups occur every Saturday.

• We will confirm your pickup time after you complete the registration form.

• If your items do not meet quality standards at pickup, we reserve the right to decline collection.

4. Listing and Sales

• Forkeeps will handle:

  • Snapping item photos

  • Writing item descriptions

  • Uploading to your Forkeeps closet

  • Managing delivery when an item sells

• You may track your items' status in your Forkeeps account.

5. Pricing

• Items are priced based on market trends and condition.

• Sellers are encouraged to expect quicker sales when prices are between ₦5,000 – ₦20,000.

• Forkeeps may suggest pricing adjustments to help sell items faster.

6. Platform Fee

• A 20% service fee applies to each item sold.

• This discounted fee applies only to items picked up during the May 2025 Declutter Campaign.

7. Payment

• Payments for sold items will be processed to your Forkeeps wallet.

• Payouts occur within 1 business day after a successful sale and delivery.

8. Unsold Items

After 6 months from listing date, you can choose to:

• Have your unsold items returned to you. (delivery fees apply)

• Donate unsold items to Forkeeps' charity partner

You must indicate your preference at registration.

9. Communication

• Forkeeps will communicate key updates regarding your items (e.g., sales, returns, or donations) via email or SMS.

• Sellers are responsible for responding if a buyer requests a discount or special accommodation.

10. Other Important Information

• By participating, you agree that Forkeeps has the right to display, market, and sell your submitted items.

• Forkeeps is not liable for any lost or damaged items before pickup.

• Participation in the campaign constitutes acceptance of these terms.
